Have you been browsing Pinterest for DIY Wedding Ideas? Me too. There are so many cute ideas out there, like these Table Numbers, these Popcorn Jars, or these Wedding Signs. But the question is, where do you find all the DIY Project Supplies in Champaign? Here’s where we go…

PACA - DIY Champaign

1. PACA

PACA is an Architectural Salvage Warehouse in downtown Champaign. PACA is all about saving and restoring historic buildings and homes in our community, but when a building is doomed for tear-down, PACA goes in to salvage doors, windows, woodwork, plumbing, fireplaces and, well, pretty much anything they can safely remove.

Things come into the warehouse daily, but the most common items you’ll find include doors, windows, woodwork, plumbing fixtures, hardwood flooring, mantels, fireplace inserts, heating grates, door and cabinet hardware, stained and leaded glass, electrical fixtures, staircases and parts, ceramic tiles, tin ceiling, porch columns and railings, slate, and every sort of odd and unusual item

Habitat for Humanity Restore Champaign DIY

2. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RE-STORE

The Habitat for Humanity Re-Store is a good place to used furniture for fun photo shoots or photobooth accessories; electronics; household items like used picture frames for table numbers; and home improvement supplies. If you want a little less of a rustic feel, the Re-Store is a good place to start. They have over 15,000 square feet in downtown Champaign and they just added a small boutique for finer items.

Plus, all proceeds from the re-store support Habitat of Champaign County.
